Hemet Unified strives to maintain a 30:1 district wide student/teacher ratio with K-3 class sizes at 20:1 supported by state and federal funding.

The summit of Mt. San Jacinto stands more than 10,800 feet high, the second highest point in Southern California. Mt. San Jacinto State Park, reached by car or via the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, is a beautiful wilderness area that can be entered by permit only. Diamond Valley Lake

Just minutes away from Cheyenne you'll find Diamond Valley Lake, often referred to as the jewel of California Lakes. The Diamond Valley Aquatic Center is now open and offers entertainment for the entire family including pool houses, a water gym and waterslide. The six mile North Hills Trail is open for horseback riding and hiking and the Lakeview Trail is now open for hiking and biking. Valley-Wide Recreation & Park District

Residents of San Jacinto and surrounding communities are served by the Valley-Wide Recreation & Park District, highlighted by the 36-acre Regional Park in San Jacinto. This recreational jewel includes a 22,000-square-foot sports center, six soccer fields, seven baseball diamonds (some lighted), batting cages, lighted tennis courts, outdoor basketball and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and picnic areas with barbecues and children’s play equipment. The sports center’s gymnasium is a popular spot for weddings, birthday parties, holiday gatherings, fundraisers, craft shows and other special events.

Convenient Shopping, Culture and Entertainment
